About ImgBurn
ImgBurn is a lightweight disc image tool that lets you burn ISO files, create disc images from your files, and verify disc integrity all from a single, intuitive interface.
Burn disc images to physical media in seconds. Whether you're working with CD, DVD, HD-DVD, or Blu-ray discs, the burning process is straightforward: select your image file, choose your drive and write speed, and confirm. Advanced users will find additional options available, but the streamlined workflow handles most tasks without touching them. Built-in guides help you get started quickly.
Create ISO images from files on your computer, or read existing disc images to extract and manage their contents. The app supports an extensive range of formats: BIN, CCD, CDI, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG, and PDI. Audio CD creation is also supported, accepting AAC, APE, FLAC, M4A, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, PCM, WAV, WMA, and WV files.
Verify disc quality and integrity with built-in checking tools. The Discovery function lets you test the quality of disc images you're creating, and the integrity verification feature confirms that your DVDs and Blu-rays are fully readable without damage or errors. This is particularly useful when working with backups or archival media where reliability matters.
The interface provides six core functions accessible via simple icon clicks: disc image reading, disc image creation, image burning to physical media, integrity verification, Discovery quality checking, and support for multiple disc formats. Despite its comprehensive feature set, ImgBurn remains lightweight—it uses less than 5 MB of drive space and minimal system resources, making it efficient even on older hardware.
ImgBurn is an excellent choice if you need reliable disc management software. The combination of ease of use, format support, and low resource footprint makes it a practical solution for anyone regularly working with disc images, creating backups, or burning audio and data CDs.
